Just getting started on these. I'm going to try using different source materials in an attempt to avoid things getting so pixilated. I'm trying to keep with the fragmented pieces by using somewhat random selections and then manipulating them until I like it. I have thought of incorporating the sketching I have going in the first piece but I'm sure I want to have that in all of them after all.
I just read your idea behind your images and I think you are definitely getting the point across of a struggle and fight for survival. During the critique I remember we even talked about the one image reminding us of the battle in Lord of the Rings. Keep it up!
